Veteran (Empty Lightsaber)
A clone wars survivors' saber, this was originally a staff, until it was damaged, leaving a single blade with the kyber crystal protruding from the pommel.
The hilt sports a maroon wrap, brass lower grip section, etched band, custom milled switch box, slide off bottom section (held with thumbscrew) and various other details..
The pommel features an external damaged crystal chamber, with manually machined brass rods and a real quartz crystal. This pommel is invisibly vented for sound, and there is a hole behind the crystal brass mounting that will allow light through if so desired.
This saber is designed to have a reveal, hence the slide off lower grip.
Hilt: Custom machined original design.
Heatsink: Will accept 1 inch, grub screw included.
Blade Plug: None included.
Blade/Plug retention: M3 thumbscrew
Switch Hole: 2 x 5mm tactile switches included, to fit in switch box
Weathering: Heavy
Belt clip: None, but one could be added at the spot where the pommel is held in place.
Wrap/Grip: Maroon grip at mid section.
Combat rating: Suitable for light - medium combat.

Outside Diameter (at widest point): 3.5cms. Rest of hilt is slimmer.
This hilt is supplied EMPTY so you can install your own electronics.
