What is a 'Stunt saber'?
- The term 'stunt' in the saber community means that a saber has light but no sound. This is a cost effective solution that allows for more basic electronics and installation. It also means a saber is generally more solid and can be duelled with harder, as there as less components like speakers, which can be damaged.
Do I need a blade for my saber?
- Yes. I currently do not provide blades with our sabers. They can be purchased through various sources. Please feel free to ask.
Do you offer Neo-Pixel installs?
- Currently not.
What sort of batteries do you use?
- I almost exclusively use protected 18650 Lithium Ion batteries, running at 3.7 volts. I also install all batteries as 'non-removable'.
Can you work on my project for me?
- I am always happy to discuss a project! However, I will likely only take on a project if I share your passion for it. I always like to give 100% and work on projects we will both love. If I don't feel I can, I don't disappoint you.
What if my paint wears off?
- I aim to make the paint and weathering work I do on all our props as hard wearing and sturdy as possible. I don't however rate our Nerf blasters for combat. If they are dropped, thrown, or knocked about, the paint will likely wear off. I am happy to discuss paint being re-touched and repaired but this is not covered under warranty.
Postage
- I always send sabers and props tracked and signed, with full insurance cover. I will not use cheaper postage options with no tracking. When sending items to us for custom work, please also used tracked and insured postage. I also cannot reduce customs values for international shipments.
Pricing
- All the work I do takes time. I cannot afford to free of charge. If you are interested in us working on a project, please get in touch and I will be happy to provide you with a formal quotation.
