Ancient Speeder - Empty Lightsaber
This saber is created using a vintage British brass torch. The tabs and sliders for the ancient electronics have been removed and a whole core has been built to allow for lightsaber internals.
The top end ID is 1 inch, and the bottom is 1.25". This allows for board and battery stacking for a removable chassis. A custom design would go beautifully with this hilt.
The emitter shroud uses another piece of vintage brass from a 50mm shell casing.
The hilt has a custom brass and aluminium blade plug, with a thumbscrew retention. It's been fun to finally find a vintage item that has been such a good base for a conversion.

Switch Hole: 8mm hole with red momentary switch included.
Weathering: Natural brass vintage.
