Upcoming 'Longboi' Run.
So, I've been considering what sort of hilts I want to make next. I've done 2 'longboi' styled greatsaber hilts (which are long single bladed hilts!) recently and have had amazing fun. I was able to get so much detail into them. This included double crystal chambers ornately etched shrouds, and still leaves plenty of space for custom chassis and installation. I'm considering doing a batch of these, and aim to make it my most in depth and intricate run yet. This may not start for a little while, as I need to finish up a few other commissions and jobs first. As always these will be 100% scratch made and will include all my signature work and attention to detail. These hilts will be around 22 inches long, and am aiming for a price of £800 EMPTY each, excluding postage. This does however, include etching. I always try and be fair with my prices, but I have had to increase ever so slightly. I have heavily invested in new machinery, tooling, and other improvements to my workshop particularly over the last year, all with the aim of providing higher quality and detail on my sabers. They will be fully detailed and designed for installation, with crystal chambers, removable grips, shrouds, and any other machine work included within the price. |
I don't want these hilts to all be the same. As with my 'Kanezra' run, I will discuss details with each customer and we will decided upon variations and styles of each hilt before completing the work.
Below are some of the options and sections of the hilt that can or may be selected.
