Ox Works 'Shaak Ti' (Restored) Empty lightsaber
This is an Ox Works Shaak Ti hilt I have repaired, re-machined and made some custom parts for. This is not a prop accurate hilt, more of a variant.
Details of specific modifications below.
I stripped back some of the weathering to give it a semi damaged look.
Machined custom blade plug.
Machined a customer Blade PCB holder (which is optional)
Sorted the oddly sized switch holes and drilled out to 8mm. This hilt includes 2x 8mm lit momentary switches. (again, optional)
Custom lit accent box, with 3 x accent pixels (unwired) and a custom light diffuser.
Greeblie screws shortened so they don't protrude into the inside of the grip, and painted red.
Pommel opened up to be a more consistent size.
The hilt breaks down into several different pieces as you can see.
This was a personal project but don't have time for it now.
This hilt is supplied EMPTY so you can install your own electronics and would be best suited to a custom designed chassis.
Blade not included.
